Qingdao Kaifaqu Government Park

This park is centrally situated directly across from Qingdao’s Kaifaqu government buildings on Changjiang Road, convenient to buses and shopping at the nearby Jusco and other shopping plazas. Nicely sculptured waterways and paths make for romantic strolls at any time of the year and anytime of the day or night. It’s always accessible and free of charge. A large open air performing arts square at the north of the park, closest to Changjiang road, provides many special events throughout the year.

Kaifaqu Government Park 2

On a warm summer night, you can take a moonlight stroll through the colorfully lit paths flanked by water ponds leads to the Sailing Bar at the center of the park. It’s a quiet haven in the middle of the busy city.

Qingdao’s Kaifaqu Government Park is open to the public year round 24/7 and is free of charge.

The park can be accessed form the north side directly across from the Government buildings on Changjiang Road just a few hundred meters east of Jusco. It can also be accessed from the south side on Zhujiang Road a stones throw east of Alishan Road.
