About Huangdao (关于黄岛)

Huangdao was simply a sub-district of Qingdao, it is the Economic Development Zone we call “Kaifaqu – 青岛开发区” but now with the merging of Jiaonan and the incredible investment in the area it has become one of the hottest places to live and invest in Northern China. In November of 2012 the State Council issued an “approval of the abolition of Huangdao District, county Jiaonan, to establishment The New Huangdao District” The New West Coast Tourism Area boasts land area of about 2127 square kilometers and about 5000 square kilometers with over 150 kilometers of golden and silver sand beaches stretching from Qingdao to Rizhao.

Huangdao is now the home of the brand new Wanda Movie Metropolis [www.wandastudios.com] with World Class Movie Studios with an investment of $8.17 Billion USD giving Hollywood a run for its money. The mega metropolis will contain the country’s largest film museum, the largest celebrity wax museum, a 3000 seat IMAX theatre and research center and the world’s largest indoor water theme park with indoor water roller-coaster.

But it doesn’t end there as the New Huangdao is home to the 7-Star Lalu Hotel [qd.thelalu.com/cn] many 5-Star Hotels and a couple of major 5-Star Theme Resorts [Rio Carnival Resort] the [Mangrove Tree Resort] and dozens of major colleges and universities.

Huangdao is also a major business investment area with the huge industrial capacity of Shandong Province, the Qingdao Bonded Free Trade Zone, the Qianwan Port one of the biggest International Shipping Ports of China and vast array of Industrial Parks [www.bili.biz] to establish an international office or factory.

About Shandong (关于山东)

Shandong has a long and rich history of at least 5000 years of Chinese civilization and a much longer history with a recent find of one of the world’s largest collection of dinosaur bones from any one area.
